Pre E3 Announcements
E3 is fast approaching us, but a few huge announcements have happened before the big event leading and here we go over a few of those that have either been leaked or shown in glorious reveal trailers!
To save filling this entire article with YouTube videos, we've put link's to all the reveal trailers in the title of each respective game. Give them a click and you'll be taken straight to the launch trailers to feast your eyes upon.
Fallout 4
This is the one that's currently tearing the Internet a new one, with people seemingly unable to contain themselves with the proposition of once again creeping out of a nuclear bunker and strolling the wastelands of Boston in search of bottlecaps and glory, that's if you can avoid the super mutants and scavengers that will ultimately want your head on a spike. I'm not much of a sprawling open world fan myself, but I can see why everyone seems to be frothing at the mouth for it.

Look out for more at the Besthesda press event on June 15th at the horrifically early time of 3am GMT.
The wastlelands never looked so good! |
The latest in the Assassins Creed series will be set in jolly old England around the Industrial Revolution in 1868. For the first time you'll be switching between two main characters, the twins Jacob and Evie Frye. While there is two main characters, there's no co-ops here as everything is being kept strictly single player. Here's hoping for some excellent narratives then.Ubisoft's E3 event begins at 11pm GMT on June 15th.
This one came out of nowhere, XCOM was one of those games that I couldn't put down when it hit the 360, but because of the character customisation and the perma death with said characters, I found myself unable to finish it in fears of my team all suffering horrible deaths at the hands of the alien onslaught. It's currently only going to be on PC, I'm hoping it makes the jump to consoles as I'm not much of a PC user myself, plus everyone should have a crack at some terrifying turn based action.
As a PC only title, expect some of this and more in the PC Gaming Show at 1am on June 17th.
Not so much a reveal here, but a leaked trailer for it hit YouTube and was promptly removed, Hyrule Warriors looks to be more of the same from last years Wii U game. I'm not sure if this is a whole new game or a port, but either way it looks really good on the smaller screens. Bringing 2 new characters to the mix with Tetra and the King of Red Lions from the Wind Waker games, it looks like another buy for me. Sorry wallet! Check this out and more from Nintendo at their E3 Digital Event on June 16th at 5pm GMT.
Scaled down in size, just as much big screen action! |
The new Skylanders game had the unfortunate timing to come out about half an hour before the Fallout 4 trailer hit the Internet and quickly eclipsed by that. Anyways, back to the plastic toy game, set for release on September 20th 2015, the latest in the Skylanders series will see customisable land, sea and air vehicles added to the mix so expect some racing fun amoungst the serie standard platforming action.
Also leaked before it was properly announced was the Uncharted Collection for PS4, all the classics bundled into one sweet package. If you've not played Uncharted before then what a place to jump into! With a whole host of new trophies to collect (if you're into that sort of thing) and a new photo mode that lets you pause the game whenever you want and swish the camera about to get some quality snaps to share on the PSN. There's also access to the Uncharated 4 Multiplayer beta included with the game. See this and more at Sony's press conference at 2am GMT on June 16th.
Bit older this one but still worth a mention as it looks fricken amazing, Adam "I never asked for this" Jensen is back again to stop a war between regular old humans and the augmented citizens of the near future world of Deus Ex. With a whole host of new awesome looking augmentations and some very angelic iconography, Mankind Divided looks like it's shaping up to be even better than last gens Human Revolution. If I was a betting man, I'd expect to see some gameplay for this and more at the Square Enix press event on June 16th at 6pm GMT.
yeah...we kinda asked for this |
The second Collection in our round up here, this time it's some 8-bit glory in the form of the Blue Bomber. The first 6 Mega Man games in one package along with a bunch of new features such as replays and online leaderboards as well as being crammed with concept sketches and official artwork. Mega Man Collection will be out on pretty much everything.
